Shambhala Arts Festival A Celebration of Contemplative Arts

Saturday, March 27, 6 to 9pm at the Brunswick Shambhala Meditation Center
Brunswick, ME

Join us for an evening of poetry, music, video and visual art created from, inspired by or offered as meditation.

The Shambhala Buddhist teachings of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche emphasize the importance of the arts as post meditation practice; offering both maker and viewer the opportunity to wake up and see things as they are.

The evening program will include brief meditation instruction and sitting to prepare the audience for contemplative viewing of the presentations. A short talk will be given on the Shambhala Art teachings of Trungpa Rinpoche.

Intermission will include refreshments to awaken the palate.
A note from me:
I cannot attend this show, but I will have images of two of my paintings projected during the course of the evening.
